Abstract: ”Interfacial tension is a fundamental physical value quantifying the forces, acting between two separate phases.
Our daily life is full of “interfaces”: Coatings are applied on cars, furniture, cloths, house-building parts, oil is poured into water and emulsified during cooking, detergents are used in a lot of different places to change the interface between water and the substrate to be cleaned. This talk will explain what is interfacial tension and provide an overview how to get access to these values.”
